Mark Waid's trivia question for the week - What are the official Legion
colors? (Answer below)

Favorites - Mark Waid reports that Brainy is his favorite Legionnaire with Cos
a close second. Tom Peyer's favorites are Garth and Brainy. Waid's least
favorite is Tinya because she reminds him of all the cheerleaders that
rejected him in high school. (Toms Peyer and McCraw both like Tinya.)

Jeff didn't have a least favorite Legionnaire, but noted that Cham was the
most difficult to draw when he was changing shape.

Tom McCraw noted that a lot of fan were anxious to see Shadow Lass again.

There was no intent in the Secret Origins story to imply a homosexual
relationship between Invisible Kid and Chemical King. (Mark edited and
co-plotted that story.) Mark added, "Not that there's anything wrong with
that . . . ."

Jeff likes W.C. Cariani's inks over his pencils.

When questioned about the appropriateness of the female Legionnaires being
5'6" and 125 lbs, Tom McCraw noted that they were all muscular. And when
Sidne Ward noted that they didn't look that heavy, McCraw noted that they
looked pretty chest heavy to him. Tom Peyer jokingly offered that pounds
don't weigh as much in the 30th century.

Evolvo didn't use his telekinesis to catch the radioactive globe in L* #26
because "he was jakin' it that day."

It will take a while before Computo shows up.

The change in Triad's eye colors in L* #26 was due to her being
mind-controlled by Aven. Her changed eye colors correspond to his eye colors.
(Tom adds that he likes driving his color seperators crazy; she confuses the
seperators anyway.)

Tom McCraw agreed that Gim and Zoe live in close quarters. Tom Peyer agreed
that putting the Brainy's lab near the power core was a potential problem.
(He also promised Jeff that Brainy would blow up HQ soon. Tom McCraw noted
that no place in HQ would be safe from Brainy.)

Jeff hasn't decided whether to draw Karate Kid more Asian than he's being
drawn currently. (He jokingly noted that he could never tell between those
Asian guys.)

The reason for limiting Gim to 30 ft. is that KC wanted to keep Gim at a
certain height. Tom McCraw noted that they didn't want Gim to be able to
become so big that he could play billiards with planets. The 6 ft hands that
Gim had in LSH Ann. #6 should be blamed on the artist. The plans are probably
to keep his height limited to 30 feet unless another meteor comes his way.

Valor is more of a saint than diety to certain UP planets. The name Mon-El
isn't coming back.

Telepathic ear plugs will be appearing soon.

Tom McCraw's wink in LSH Annual 6 to Mark Waid's writing style on Flash
was intentional. The reason for tying XS so closely to the Allens will be
revealed soon. Also (and likely related), XS will be getting around soon.
Tom McCraw came up with XS's origin. The Impulse origin was written long
before the decision to reboot was made. Aarok is pronounced "R-rock."

The Legion membership level is pretty steady at current levels.

Tinya's mom will be causing problems for the Legion.

Rimbor is not an UP world, and that may cause problems for Ultra Boy becoming
a member.

It requires super-powers to be in the Legion, and Zoe is an unfair exception.
Tom Peyer noted that Zoe's power loss would be causing bigger problems for
Zoe than for the team, but that could change.

Both Tom McCraw and Jeff Moy noted that the rumors about Zoe becoming the
Emerald Empress were only rumors. When pressed that some rumors come true,
Tom added, "I don't put a lot of faith in rumors." He noted that they do have
plans for Zoe when asked to restore her powers.

On a possibly related note, Tom McCraw noted that they plot almost 6 months
in advance and that it was unlikely that they'd change their plans because
they were guessed by fans.

Dr. Regulus and the Atom-villain, Chronos, will be appearing soon. Chronos
is appearing in the Underworld crossover. The rebooted Dr. Regulus can do
anything with fire--including breathe it.

TRIVIA ANSWER - White on white. The Legionnaires painted their ships the
official Legion colors--and the ships appeared as white on white.
