I need to start off with an apology about last week's chat. Between my
vacation and technical problems with AOL, I don't recall enough to make a full
report. I will sprinkle in some bits from last week's report in this report.

Tom McCraw, Jeff Moy and KC Carlson were the guests on AOL's LSH Chat on
Tuesday, April 25, 1995. LSH Chat is held every Tuesday in America Online's
DC Comics Chat Room at 6:00 p.m. EST. Previous guests have included Mark
Waid, Tom Peyer, Tom McCraw, Jeff Moy and KC Carlson.

DISCLAIMER - You get what you pay for. Don't trust people you've never met.
And any other appropriate saying that your parents may have spouted at you.

Both the LSH annual and Legionnaire #26 will be released this week. You'll
want to read the annual first. The annual contains three eight page stories
and numerous other pin-ups and text features.

There are two LSH stories in an upcoming issue of Showcase '95. (ED - Number
6, if I recall correctly.)

KC owns a set of LSH press-on nails. I'm not sure what it is about the Chat
Hours that make the creators confess their cross-dressing habits. :)

There were a number of problems with the seperators and printing of LSH
#69. It made the artwork appear fuzzy at some points. They are considering
moving to a new seperator. A different seperator did the annual, and Tom
McCraw would like to take the business there.

KC asked that Lee Moder and Ron Boyd be given a few more issues to o
vercome some dissatisfaction with their art. He indicated that they've been
rushed on some of the past issues, but the problem is under control now. He's
happy with their artwork on LSH #72.

Jeff Moy stated that he wouldn't want to switch books with Stuart Immonen.
His reason is that the cuter girls are in the Legion books. Jeff is currently
working on L* #30.

MERCHANDISE ALERT - A T-shirt will be released in honor of the
Superboy/Legion crossover. The art is by Grummett and Boyd, and features
Superboy, Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl and Live Wire.

The name "Almo" in LSH #69 was Tom Peyer's idea.

They try to keep the background aliens consistent, but Jeff and Lee draw too
many to keep track off. (ED - Besides, close scrutiny might cause some
intellectual property problems.)

KC indicated that "they" liked the story where Karate Kid, Princess
Projectra, Nemesis Kid and Ferro Lad join.

No plans for Shadow Lass yet. (To answer your question - every week,
apparently.)

There are no plans for the Monster Master villain from Adventure #309. Tom
Peyer apparently enjoys such names, though. (ED - Tom Peyer wasn't there to
defend himself, either.)

Tom Peyer is working on a way out of the LSH/L.E.G.I.O.N./R.E.B.E.L.S. mess.
They want to fix it so that there are no ties between the teams.

Andromeda's aura does not work with the transuit. The LSH annual partially
explains why, and LSH #70 finishes the explanation.

When the Espionage Squad was mentioned, KC stated that it sounded like a cool
idea.

There will be more exploration of the Titan/Braal war soon.

They aren't telling whether Superboy or Valor will be joining.

They've shelved their plans for the SP officer shown in the "Mano On the
Moon" storyline. There's too much other stuff going on to develop him further
right now.

Work Force will be returning soon. They play a part in the Legionnaires
annual. (ED - And they appear in L* #26, on sale this week.) A Work Force
mini series is a possibility.

We won't be seeing the Gossamer powers soon. Tom McCraw doesn't care for the
name, "Gossamer." They did banter about the possibility of giving the
gravity/mass powers to Garth. [Personal note to Johanna - I don't want to
hear it. :)]

Tom defended Triad's usefulness to the team. She's one of his favorite
characters. She's the next Legionnaire that will "sort of" get a romance.
Tom remarked that it's difficult to tell with three personalities.

Saturn Girl will be better by the time of the crossover.

L* #30 is a "family" issue. The creators wouldn't say which family.

At least one of the following will be joining the Legion soon: Valor, Ultra
Boy, Spider Girl and Sun Boy.

The Underworld crossover occurs in LSH #75 or Legionnaires #32 or possib
ly both. (Underworld is the upcoming DC Universe crossover written by Ma
rk Waid wherein many of the minor villains receive a power boost.) The c
reators indicated last week that an Underworldized Chronos was the Legion
villain. Issue 75 won't be double sized, or have a gimmick cover. In fact,
KC said "Ikk!" to the idea of gimmick covers.

Two villains are returning soon, but one of them may have a new name. It
seems that the creators aren't impressed with the name "Starfinger". They
solicted our ideas.

They're fine-tuning the Superboy/LSH crossover, which will at least partially
explain Valor's revised history.

MAJOR DISCLAIMER ALERT - Some vague references were made to an upcoming
Legionnaire death and whether it will be permanent. My best interpretation is
that Cham will be dying, but that the death won't be permanent. This
apparently ties into the L* annual.
