============================

The Legion titles are not in danger of cancellation.

KC observed that the recent distribution changes pushed many DC titles back
one week, including the Legion books.

R.E.B.E.L.S. '96 # 17 (the final issue) will provide clues about Phase's
identity and another LSH tidbit.

Peyer's last issue of "New Gods" is number 5. He left the title as part of
his plan to cut back on his work. Rachel Pollack will continue using their
plotlines for the first 12 issues.

In addition to co-plotting both Legion titles, McCraw is currently coloring
the Legion titles, Impulse, Flash, Aquaman, and Superboy.

Peyer noted that there are plans for the Atom, but that he wouldn't be
involved. He wasn't upset about his lack of involvement. He'd heard that
Atom would be a Titan, but he wasn't certain.

Peyer never tires of pointing out that the Legion of Super-Heroes doesn't
appear in the DC vs. Marvel crossover because Marvel fears the Legion.

KC told Jeff that he wants "THIS TONGUE THING STOPPED!!!" "NOW!!!" He
refused to present the issue to the fans. Then he added a row of smileys
indicating that he wasn't serious.

The special Shrinking Violet panel in L* #33 was created by drawing Vi and
Cosmic Boy normally, then blurring Cos. McCraw wasn't happy with the way
that the panel came out, but didn't have the opportunity to say why he was
unhappy.

KC noted that LSH mini series would happen as soon as some
people--particularly him--found the time to do them.

There are no plans for Shadow Lass right now. There are no plans for
Princess Projectra right now. There are no plans for Kara/Supergirl right
now, and she'd be a "long shot". Matrix/Supergirl has been talked about,
but there are no plans for her right now.

McCraw opines that the Legion of Substitute Heroes are "way cool".

Andromeda is still in jail.

Peyer pointed out that we've already seen Evolvo of the Heroes of Lallor,
and we'll probably see the other Lallorians eventually.

Peyer thought it would be interesting to see Vandal Savage in the 30th
century, but McCraw believed that Savage had been overused in the Justice
League books recently.

Gates' origin hasn't been completely decided yet. McCraw is in favor of the
powers being a family line trait.

LSH #77 is a spotlight on Brainiac 5.

KC asked how we knew that Mysa wasn't young. McCraw noted that Mysa will
probably join the LSH "some day".

McCraw speculated that Daxam was still apologizing for the White Triangle
incident when asked why Daxam hadn't sent a new Legionnaire to replace
Andromeda.

Valor will probably visit a lot of places. McCraw wondered if Valor could
go to Daxam without being recognized.

Peyer observed that "liquefy" and "dissolve" were different aspects of the
unnamed villains' powers.

McCraw pointed out that the creative team has a lot of characters to juggle
when told that some of the plotlines are moving slowly. He conceded that
the Kinetix plotline did drag a bit. Peyer quipped that Kinetix's story
"will continue to be dished out in infuriating dribs and drabs."

There are no guarantees that XS will make it back to the 30th century after
her appearance in the current Flash/Impulse "Dead Heat" event. XS is
appearing in that story because Mark Waid asked very nicely if he could use
her. Barry (Flash) Allen was XS' and Impulse's grandfather.

The Tornado Twins will be showing up in a DC book soon, but it won't be one
of the Legion titles.

McCraw observed that the only Emerald Eye that has appeared so far was in
the Scavenger's collection in LSH #74. The Eye that Mysa showed Kinetix was
an illusion that Mysa created. The creators remained mum on whether Kinetix
would become the new Emerald Empress.

The spell that Mysa cast on the Legion to make them not worry about Kinetix
didn't work very well on Shrinking Violet. McCraw speculated that Vi was
more concerned about Kinetix than the other Legionniares, and that led to
her resistance.

There is only one person running around in the "Villain Formerly Known As
Starfinger" armor. He'll be "named in a way" in L* #34. He may have a
tangential connection with the upcoming Fatal Five story. There is someone
that we've already met inhabiting the armor. We'll find out who s/he really
is in L* #34.

The Sun Eater appears in the Fatal Five story, but isn't really the focus of
the story. The Fatal Five storyline continues through LSH #80.

Star Boy's surprise powers will be explored more in upcoming issues.

Xanthu is important to the plot of LSH #82.

The story started by Apparition's death in the L* Annual has commenced.
Winema Wazzo is upset at the Legion, as shown in LSH #76. KC asked, "Isn't
Tinya a dead topic?"
