==========================

Tom indicates that there will be a Legionnaires issue for February, but it
will be bumped a week along with all the rest of the DC and Marvel books. The
skip week won't affect the Legion titles except that the fans will have to
wait an extra week for "Legionnaires".

A new LSH T-Shirt and poster will be coming soon. Tom would like to see
action figures or key chains, but none are forthcoming soon.

Tom would really like to attend the Chicago Con in the summer of 1996. Ron is
planning to attend the San Diego Con in 1996.

Ron's first Legion work was the cover to LSH #38. He's currently finishing
inking LSH #79.

Tom would like to see the Legion books downgraded in price.

Rumors that LSH and L* are going to merge into one title are false.

There are no plans for the Legion to meet Supergirl/Matrix yet.

The Martian Manhunter exists only in the 30th century for now.

If Tom could be any Legionnaire, he'd be Invisible Kid.

Tom pointed out that whether anything that happened prior to Zero Hour would
carryover into the postboot universe was uncertain until they addressed it.

Tom noted that the creative team wanted to explore the Legionnaires that are
already on the team, but that readers demanded the return of other old
members.

There are no plans for Sensor Girl, and Tom asked if we wouldn't rather see
her as Princess Projectra first.

There are no plans for Shadow Lass to return soon.

Tom responded with Double Header when asked if there was any character that
he'd prefer never to reintroduce. He expressed doubt that anything could be
done with him in a story.

There are no plans for Mordru yet, but new Legionnaires co-writer Roger Stern
is a big Mordru fan, so it's possible.

Several Legionnaires made the cut to be presented in the upcoming DC Legends
card set. The LSH art isn't new work, but was presented earlier in published
comics. Tom was upset that Triad wasn't receiving her own card.

Tom named Gates.

Will Dream Girl already know that she's going to date Star Boy when she first
appears? Tom indicates that it will depend on how they introduce Dream Girl.
They've discussed the introdcution of Dream Girl, but there are no plans for
her character yet. He quipped that something had to be done with her
character because falling asleep in battle could be dangerous.

Tom observed that something different would have to be done with Nemesis Kid
in this incarnation, and that it was too easy to make him a traitor this time
around.

Tom facetiously wondered why everyone kept asking about Apparition returning
to life, and speculated that there's a rumor going around. He also expressed
concern that the regular chat attendees would have nothing to talk about if
Apparition was brought back to life.

Lar Gand has his own things to do now that he's free. We will see him again
sometime.

With respect to Ultra Boy's outburst in LSH #76, Tom noted that Jo and
Apparition were a "love at first sight" couple and it's difficult for Jo to
get over Tinya.

The female character on the cover of LSH #77 is a new character. Her name is
"Nara," and we'll see who she is and why she's important to Brainy.

The Fatal Five is going to be a long battle. Tom noted that Ferro would not
be involved with the Sun Eater story. Tom wouldn't want to get rid of Ferro
that quick and thinks it would be fun to have Ferro as a daredevil type of
character.

Tom pled for silence about Tenzil's new power from those that had seen preview
copies of Legionnaires #35. He noted that everyone will be able to enjoy the
"humor" of Tenzil's new power. (ED - However, the idea that the new power
would be humorous was suggested by the attendees and never officially
confirmed nor denied by Tom.)

Tom promised that fans would be pleased when we discovered "who" the villain
in L* #35 would be. (ED - His quotes.)

A lot of the plots that have been running in the books will be wrapped up by
LSH #80.

Tom had just worked out a plot for the second postboot appearance of Dirk
Morgna/Sun Boy, which should appear sometime next summer. Tom hopes that the
name will remain Sun Boy as they've already got an Inferno. The appearance
won't be a spotlight, and Tom remained mum on whether Sun Boy would join the
team in that appearance.
