Overview
The "Lightning Saga" era of the Legion of Super-Heroes began being published in 2007 and is currently running as the dominant Legion in DC Publications. The stories that encompass this era began being published in Justice League of America (vol 2) #8-10 and Justice Society of America (vol 4) #5-6, and culminated in Final Crisis: Legion of 3 Worlds where it's place as the dominant Legion of publication was established.
This Legion is commonly referred to as the "retroboot" Legion by fans.
This Legion closely resembles the Pre-Crisis Legion, but differences exist primarily in details such as the role of Supergirl and some changes in characters.
