Its always great to meet another Legion fan, and doubly so when they share their love for the Legion with other fans. Still trying to completely figure out the site. I am limited by what I have permission to edit, but finding most of the pages are working out really well. I look forward to maybe adding some synopses to same issue pages for comics I have.

At the moment, we have turned off the ability for new users to create new pages, due to a heavy barrage of spamming a few weeks ago. You should be able to edit any page that currently exists, and if a page you want to edit isn't available, we'll be happy to create it for you. I've added some text to your user page so that you can edit it now. We'll review whether it's safe to turn on the page creation functionality in the near future. In the meantime, here are a few tips for adding to discussion pages:

1. You can indent each successive response in a discussion by adding a ":" before your text. The more colons, the more the paragraph will indent. I've added some above for reference.
2. It's also handy to end any discussion posts with "~~~~". The wiki interprets this code as a command to add your user name and the date/time you added the text. Its a good way to keep track of who's saying what.
3. You'll notice in the wiki code for previous tip, I surrouned the 4 tildes with "nowiki" tags. This temporarily tells the wiki not to interpret something as code an to just display it as text. When you want to sign your discussions, don't include the nowiki tags.

Also, please don't be surprised or offended if we move your contributions to a different page or restrcture a page you have edited. We're thrilled to have your contrbutions, but we're trying very hard to keep the basic format of pages and features uniform throughout the wiki. If you don't know where to put something, just take your best guess. As the wiki grows, pages get renamed and content is moved around as a natural part of its development. You'll figure out the basics pretty quickly, and we are happy to help if you have questions. - Gopher 13:23, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

I've reduced the autoconfirm (page creation) barrier from the default four days/10 edits to one day/five edits. That should allow you to create pages :).

Panel counts

Great to see you added some new pages. I knew you would pick this up fairly quickly. Since you are adding some data for character panel counts, I wanted to make sure that we are on the same page in the way we are counting them, so that the panel counts will be consistent throughou the wiki.

The basic rule I am using in order to count a character is that you must be able to see the character and discern who it is. So, for instance:

• If you only see a part of the character, such as their hand or foot, and can tell who it is from their costume or from context, that counts as a panel
• A panel which has the character's speech balloon or voiceover, but does not show the character, does not count. For example, you might see a scene of a spaceship flying through space, with a speech balloon coming out of it but cant see the character - that wouldn't count. However, if you could even see a silhouette in a window of the spaceship, and can tell who it is, that would count.
• Sometimes a single panel shows a character doing several actions over time, such as moving through a room at several points. This only counts as one character panel.
• If a panel shows a group shot from so far away that the characters are tiny, as long as you can figure out which one is which, it counts. If you can identify one, such as Dawnstar because you can discern her wings, but the others all look the same, then she would be counted and not the others.
• Sometimes we list "Unnamed Science Police officers", or "Unnamed Earth citizens" in our panel counts. In a distance shot like the one described above, you don't need to be able to discern who the character is to count. You generally see this in estbalishing scenes when Legionnaires arrive on a planet - often crowds of people are shown as dots on the landscape, but I would count these as "Unnamed citizens of Titan" or whatever.

Hope that isn't too nit-picky. I've just found in counting issues that one comes across these judgement calls. If we apply the rules consistently, the counts will be more reliable across the wiki. Frankly, they're not really that important, but they do give an indicaton of what characters are receiving more attention in an issue. If you encounter other situations that are questionable or disagree with my reasoning, feel free to discuss. I'd like to create some pages to explain things like this so that newer users such as yourself don't have to figure them out on their own.
