Earth-22

Oy, what a headache.

Kingdom Come is now said to have taken place on Earth-22, but since it's connected with the now-replaced Hypertime, does that mean we have a Kingdom Come Elseworlds Legion and a Kingdom Come Earth-22 Legion?

That gives us no less than three versions of Starman VIII now:

  • The Elseworlds KC Starman VIII, a mere time traveller from that world's future
  • The Earth-22 KC Starman VIII, a time traveller from the future of a different Earth (Earth-L?) who has crossed the dimensional barriers to go from his Earth to Earth-22 to New Earth as seen in the Lightning Saga.
  • The other Starman VIII from the post-Zero Hour timeline (Earth-ZH?) who became Danny Blaine for a while.

And what about The Kingdom and Hypertime? The Kingdom is connected to Elseworlds Kingdom Come via Hyptertime. In today's multiverse, the phantoms would be easy enough to explain away as ghosts from alternate earths. But Hypertime apparently has gone away, so do we interpret the books as they were at the time as well as provide a retcon explanation?
