Talk:Adventure Comics 307

This is my ninth contribution to the wiki, and I'd like to get some feedback to see how it's going. In addition to those of you who are in charge of/make contributions to the wiki (all three of you?? -- judging by those who've made recent contributions), I'd like to post an inivitation over on Legion World for people to check it out -- and possibly solicit more contributions (as Michael did recently). [Has anyone checked out Fat Cramer's review thread for Adv. 318? She's a possible candidate.] As I'm new here, I don't want to step on anybody's toes or breach protocol. Does anybody have any objections to my posting such an announcement on LW's existing Legion Wiki thread? He Who Wanders 21:33, 8 August 2007 (PDT)

Looks good to me! A couple of suggestions - make wiki links to each of the Legionnaires in the roll call section, so that we don't have to look through the body of the text to find them and so that it doesn't look (like this issue) like only one Legionnaire in the roll call has a link. Also, make links to planets (that's what I'm working on now), villains, and recurring tech stuff (like the Time Bubble) if you refer to it in the text.
Whenever I mention the Legion Wiki I always refer people back here to add to what we've got, so the more publicity the better. -- Omnicom 08:27, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
Indeed, the more actual contributors (i.e., everyone except trolls, spambots and Nature Boyz) the better :). Go for it. - Reboot (SoM) talk page 08:38, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
Could you define trolls and Nature Boyz for me? I've heard you refer to them but I'm not entirely sure how those terms are used in a wiki setting. Please forgive my ignorance. -- Gopher 07:01, 10 August 2007 (PDT)
Troll=vandal. Nature Boyz was a specific group of trolls that the LegionWorld.net group (including HWW) encountered pre-LW and in the early days of LW. - Reboot (SoM) talk page 11:13, 10 August 2007 (PDT)
You're a madman! Keep it coming. I'd like to see hundreds of contributors, but I'm grateful for anyone who contributes on anything like a regular basis. We've seen about a dozen people who made one or two edits and then were never heard from again. We've also had a couple who were active fairly consistently for a while but then tapered off to nothing. Looks like we've grown from 3 regulars to 4. Anyone for 5? If you can bring them in, by all means do so. -- Gopher 20:10, 9 August 2007 (PDT)

On Links, Missing and Otherwise

I don't want to sound lazy, but is there any way to make the links easier? It gets very old to type "Pre-Crisis" every time, or to even known when its necessary to type it (such as for Roxxas and Bizarro No. 1)?
Check out Disambiguation Table for Legionnaire link guidance. As I seem to recall, this needs a bit of fleshing out, but should help a bit as you get adjusted. -- Gopher 20:10, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
Is it the preferred style to create links twice: when the character is first mentioned in the text, and again in the roll call? I can see the wisdom of doing this, but it is a lot of extra work.He Who Wanders 11:32, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
All the more reason to have a lot more contributors. -- Gopher 20:10, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
