=============================================

They're still working out what Roger Stern's role will be in the books.

There will be no crossovers with LSH and R.E.B.E.L.S. before R.E.B.E.L.S.
ends. R.E.B.E.L.S. #17 will be the last issue.

After the Superboy/LSH crossover, Tom Grummett called KC and "DEMANDED" to
do the Legion again. He had a blast.

KC indicated that it's almost impossible to break into the comics industry
right now, especially with the downturn of the industry. Creators that have
regular gigs are scrambling to find work. Marvel is downsizing both in
numbers of books and staff. Others may follow. The market is down because
the speculators have fled and taken their false money with them.
Nevertheless, KC noted that for potential future talent, it's best to go to
San Diego or Chicago for portfolio reviews, or send submissions to the DC
Submissions editor.

KC further noted that the Legion books are relatively healthy.

Peyer indicated that there's nothing in the LSH Constitution preventing dead
members from joining. In fact, Death could join the Legion.

KC has found someone in licensing who is a big LSH fan, but unfortunately
she has no real power. He still has faith that someday they'll be offering
LSH stuff. He keeps telling everyone that LSH fans are insane, but no one
will believe him. Peyer suggested LSH cigarettes, LSH adult diapers, and
LSH beer.

There is a Superboy/LSH T-shirt coming out from Graphitti. (ED - It was
solicited in last month's Previews.)

KC would like to see Reep on David Letterman doing Stupid Durlan tricks.

Peyer thought he'd believe the LSH more in animated form than a live action
movie.

KC noted that Kevin Dooley would join the Legion of Super-Pets if it existed.

Cham is trying to learn Interlac, which is different than English. Upcoming
stories will explore the difference.

Peyer believes the LSH is a super-hero comics with space-opera trappings.
KC indicated that it's a character-driven super-hero comics with a SF
background.

There are some members of the Superman team that would like to take a stab
at the LSH, but not in the near future.

Booster Gold is a can of worms that KC would rather not step into right now,
particularly because there's so much Legion stuff to do now. Peyer noted
that they will lose the ring and the best at some point.

Peyer does think there will be some Leigon Spin offs.

There are no current plans for Timber Wolf, but Peyer likes him. There are
no plans for Princess Projectra, either. There are no Ferro Lad plans.

Peyer thought that one fan's suggestion of an Apokolips reprensentative was
a great idea. Peyer then noted that they hadn't decided if Apokolips is
around in the 30th century.

A Legion Constitution does exist in their world, but not in ours.

The logistics of the Superboy/LSH crossover were worked out at last year's
writer's meeting, and Karl Kesel sat in.

KC indicated that a new Zoe scene arrived in his office, and it was "very cool."

Peyer noted that there are brighter moments ahead for the Legion, but it
will be after they go through darker times. He later repeated that there
are bright times ahead, indeed.

There won't be any White Triangle fallout for a while, Peyer's had enough of
them.

A major storyline starts in LSH #76.

Peyer: "Who SAYS Tinya's coming back . . . ?"

KC called questions about Apparition's ring, "interesting." Peyer wasn't
sure who had the ring but suggested Jo, Winema, the LSH and Booster Gold.
