=======

KC has talked to Colleen Doran about doing some Legion artwork, but doesn't
have any place to put her right now. Everyone is on schedule. Ron Boyd
adds that they paid for it dearly.

KC is also trying to find a good vehicle for Curt Swan to do the artwork on.

LSH Archives are on hold for now. KC is pushing for at least 2 more volumes
to complete the Adventure era. (ED. - Just two?)

KC is going to be at the San Diego con. Tom, Tom, and Ron won't be there.

The Legionnaires Annual sold out in a lot of areas. KC has DC marketing
investigating the sell-outs.

KC instructed us not to base anything on the print ads that are appearing in
some books right now. It took forever for them to get them out of
production and they're now out of date.

Peyer's favorite Legionnaire that hasn't returned is Superboy.

The creators are having a contest to see who can stay around the longest.
So far, Tom McCraw is winning. Ron came on board with KC.

There won't be a third regular series, but they're going to try to do minis
and specials.

Peyer wouldn't mind having Ben Grimm join the Legion.

KC will be editing the Superman titles soon, he's co-editing them now. He
won't be dropping the Legion titles.

McCraw thought the idea of a younger/older Jan/Shvaughn romance was interesting.

Peyer wouldn't comment about what's coming up for the end of R.E.B.E.L.S.
'9x. He is going to be able to wrap up all the subplots. He doesn't think
the R.E.B.E.L.S. will disappear forever.

The new paper makes Tom's colors appear somewhat brighter.

KC says that the Super-Pets will probably never return. (ED. - We've got
guns.<g>) Kingdom Come--which reportedly shows the Super-Pets in one
panel--is non-continuity.

Peyer took the blame for the vegetarian comment in Legionnaires #23.

Roger Stern will be joining the creative team for issues that ship in early
'96. Toms Peyer and McCraw are staying.

Peyer noted that Miami wouldn't be destroyed for another 1,000 years, "alas."

McCraw noted that the Legionnaires really need Tenzil. Somebody has to
serve lunch.

KC didn't appreciate the attendees' idea that Saturn Girl might have her
rear shot off and replaced with a prosthetic, "iron" butt.

The Durlan language is just rewritten Sugar and Spike. KC solicited
opinions on having a teenaged Sugar and Spike in the Legion.

Cosmic Boy and Live Wire are Ron's favorite Legionnaires. "Stories galore."

There are no rehash plans for the Great Darkness Saga. The original was too
wel done. The creators hadn't considered Darkseid's status in the 30th
century. The WT is not the Dark Circle.

The creators thought they'd kill Wildfire before they brought him back.

When questioned about a swimsuit issue, KC commented that he thought
swimsuit issues were overdone. He thought they'd have to work too hard to
top L* #7. He was interesting in doing a snowsuit issue, though.

We'll see Rond Vidar soon.

KC commented that Saturn Girl's mental state will be in question for a while.

We'll see Brainiac 5's force field belt soon. Peyer thinks the reason that
he invents it will amsue the readers.

LSH #77 is a Brainy spotlight.

Peyer has noted that there's never been much exploration of Saturn Girl and
her past either pre or postboot. They're considering a spotlight for her to
remedy this. Peyer thinks Imra is a great character despite the fact that
she's never been spotlighted. He wondered what it's like to grow up on a
world where everyone's telepathic.

The White Triangle may be back someday. The WT was mutually developed among
Mark Waid, Tom and Tom.

Peyer responded that Evolvo must have been awake, just hurting real bad when
asked why Evolvo didn't revert to human form in the Annual.

They're considering showing more of Comic Boy's past, too. No promises as
to when, though.

The Adventure-era Computo story is one of Peyer's favorites, so we'll
probably see it soon.

Zoe won't be appearing before LSH #76.

Star Boy returns soon. Thom appears, not returns. And his space ship
accident messed him up badly. Thom will be coming around by the end of next
year.

McCraw noted that a lot of fans don't like waiting for the Legionnaires to
return.

When asked whether the members that will be asked to leave will continue to
be featured in the books, Peyer remarked that the book will focus on several
characters who aren't members. McCraw said "yes (sorta)." Some members do,
one won't. Peyer noted that one of the really hard things about writing the
Legion right now was working in a lot of super-characters who aren't members.

There are time travel stories coming up in LSH #74/L*#31 and LSH #75/L*#32.
One member will spend some time in the 20th century. (ED - They're likely
referring to XS' upcoming appearance in "Impulse." B.I.O.I.B.Y.W.A.S.)

The secret admirer plot will be interrupted for reasons that will be clear.
It won't be dropped. Just on pause. (ED. - The postboot Legion's 2nd dangler?)

LSH #75 features XS meeting -------- in the timestream, according to Ron.
Peyer notes that Chronos is the villain for that issue (an Underworld
Unleashed crossover).

Peyer answered "I hear you" to a fan's request to let Andromeda out of jail
and back into the Legion.

Andromeda feeds herself in her cell. If Peyer were Andromeda, he'd really
like a radio.

We haven't seen the postboot Shanghalla yet. (ED - Shanghalla was the
pre-Zero Hour burial site for heroes, including Legionnaires.)

Leeta 87 and Hate Face were too busy to attend the ceremony in LSH #72.
Peyer hesitates to tell Leeta 87's story after seeing the reaction to the L*
Annual. (ED. - Leeta 87 and Hate Face had gravesites on Shanghalla in
Adventure #341.)

Ambassador Wazzo will be quite upset at Apparition'd death, you don't quite
know what she'll do.

What happened to Apparition in the Annual is just the beginning of things.
We'll find out why it was Tinya that died.

Peyer said, "Tinya's death really seemed to rock the world in a way I didn't
anticipate."

Peyer laughed when it was suggested that Proty will sacrifice himself with a
lightning rod to bring Tinya back. He joked that they weren't bringing back
Tinya but they were bringing back her bell bottoms.

When asked who will replace Tinya in the Legion, Peyer remarked "you'll see."
