Just checking, re: main page protection

Just noticed you protected the main page (ta for sysopping me, BTW). One thing - the text in the individual "panels" is included from templates, so it's still freely editable. Did you mean this (since five out of six are placeholder notes) or did you mean to protect them too?

Sorry to bug you, but I had to check. - Reboot (SoM) talk page 12:05, 25 June 2006 (PDT)

  • We should probably protect them as well. I'd prefer any templates to be protected. Unless you can think of a reason why they shouldn't be.

Just that the non-PostZH ones are nearly empty, and I don't know enough to fill them out. Maybe put a specific call to fill them out the same way I did the post-ZH one, and then they could be locked after that? - Reboot (SoM) talk page 12:21, 25 June 2006 (PDT)

  • I'll try to come up with a quick filler. Should we open it up to the public in the Legion Wiki thread or see if anyone of the SF participants wants to do it? Not sure about letting the 'regular' public do it then locking it. - --Lightning Lad 12:39, 25 June 2006 (PDT)

Ummm.... HELP!

I tried to fix the dead links on the List of Pre-Crisis members by directing them to articles that already existed for Chemical King and Dawnstar, but I seem to have frigged it up, if you could take a look.

Also, could we use an alliance color for Science Police and an issue color for Superman v1 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Duke (talkcontribs) . Please sign on talk pages with - ~~~~

Just use supporting-character-green for Sci-Cops unless there's another colour to override it (e.g., Kinetix and Magno get hero-red). Characters' affiliations often change so much, that with there being no way to put two colours in, the colour's just a general indicator. Specifics are what the list's for.
And there already IS a issue colour for Superman v1. - Reboot (SoM) talk page 09:13, 27 August 2006 (PDT)

Lastly, I notice that the Kon-El Superboy series is being referred to as v3. Are we counting New Adventures of Superboy or Superboy:The Comic Book/Adventures of Superboy as v2? My thought is that the Kin-El series should be v2 as it is the second series to go by that name, but I'm happy to go along with whatever the wiki convention is. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Duke (talkcontribs) . The v1/v3 of Superboy corresponds to how they are labelled in Overstreet. There have been three series that were titled simply Superboy. V2 was an adaptation of the Superboy television series in the early 90's. Issues of New Adventures of Superboy (of which #50 was the only Legion appearance) should be referred to by that full name. --Gopher 05:40, 27 August 2006 (PDT)
This reminds me why I hate roman numerals in character names... - what do the comics' indicia say, as opposed to Overstreet? - Reboot (SoM) talk page 09:13, 27 August 2006 (PDT)
