Threshold

The Threshold is a warp technology that allows users to travel through any point in space. However, the warp requires a navigation instrument to use properly. This navigation is provided by the nomadic Kwai. Threshold technology is currently being maintained by the Legion on Legion World; normal sentients are allowed to use the technology, presumably under strict security.

The Legion first encountered the Threshold in the Second Galaxy. They chanced upon an ark which held the Omniphagos, a strong and invulnerable creature that could consume any matter. The Omniphagos had been imprisoned in the Threshold technology.

The Threshold would later be found and studied by the Progenitor. The Legionnaires were able to use the Threshold to return to their home galaxy.
