Origin

Irma Ardeen is a young woman from Titan, a world where everyone communicates telepathically, and due to centuries of evolution, they've lost their vocal cords.

Encounter with Terror Firma

Not much is known about the Legion's early history, except that Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, and Cosmic Boy were the founders.
Some time after the Zero-Some encounter (an undocumented case) she and Lightning Lad took a break to Rimworld. There, they were among the first to encounter the Terror Firma (together with Brin Londo).

Powers and abilities

Saturn Girl is a telepath, able to alter, manipulate and read minds, and communicate mentally. She can have problems with contacting shielded minds or affect a brain directly (such as disrupting the amygdala).
