Major worlds

This section includes Earth, the home planets of all of the Legionnaires, and other locations which appeared frequently.

  • Bgztl - home planet of Legionnaire Phantom Girl. All inhabitants have the power to turn intangible while not in their native dimension.
  • Bismoll - home planet of Legionnaire Matter-Eater Lad. All inhabitants have the power to digest nearly all forms of matter.
  • Braal - home planet of Legionnaire Cosmic Boy. All inhabitants have magnetic powers.
  • Colu - home planet of Legionnaire Brainiac 5. All inhabitants have 8th-Level intelligence, higher than the norm.
  • Daxam - home planet of Legionnaire Mon-El. All inhabitants attain Kryptonian-level powers in the presence of a yellow sun. First mentioned in Superboy v1 #89.
  • Dryad - destroyed, formerly the home planet of Blok and other members of the League of Super-Assassins. Inhabitants generally have no special powers. Also known as Korlon.
  • Durla - home planet of Legionnaire Chameleon Boy. All inhabitants have the ability to change shape.
  • Earth - site of city of Metropolis, in which the Legion HQ (among other things) resides. Home planet of Legionnaires Sun Boy, Wildfire. Inhabitants generally have no special powers. Mostly harmless.
  • Imsk - home planet of Legionnaire Shrinking Violet. All inhabitants have the power to shrink.
  • Khundia - home world of the Khund Empire
  • Korbal - home to Lightning Monsters and where Garth, Ayla and Mekt Ranzz gained their powers. First appearance Superman v1 #147.
  • Krypton - home planet of Legionnaires Superboy and Supergirl. Destroyed in the mid-20th century. All inhabitants have super-powers in the presence of a yellow sun.
  • Lallor - home planet of the Heroes of Lallor. Inhabitants generally have no special powers.
  • Luna - natural satellite of Earth
  • Naltor - home planet of Legionnaire Dream Girl. All inhabitants have some form of precognition powers.
  • Orando - home planet of Legionnaire Princess Projectra. Inhabitants generally have no special powers.
  • Phlon - home planet of Legionnaire Chemical King. Inhabitants generally have no special powers.
  • Rimbor - home planet of Legionnaire Ultra Boy. Inhabitants generally have no special powers.
  • Shanghalla - cemetery planet for those who died heroic deaths
  • Sklar - home planet of the Sklarian Raiders
  • Starhaven - home planet of Legionnaire Dawnstar. Inhabitants have fully functional feathered wings, and can also travel in space without the need of a spacesuit or ship.
  • Talok VIII - home planet of Legionnaire Shadow Lass.
  • Takron-Galtos - main prison planet in the United Planets
  • Tharr - home planet of Legionnaire Polar Boy. All inhabitants have the ability to project cold, typically in the form of ice or snow.
  • Titan - a moon of Saturn, home planet of Legionnaire Saturn Girl. All inhabitants have telepathic powers.
  • Trom - home planet of Legionnaire Element Lad. Entire population slain. Inhabitants had the power to transmute elements.
  • Ventura - also known as the Gambler's Planet
  • Weber's World - artificial world used by the United Planets
  • Winath - home planet of Legionnaires Lightning Lad and Light Lass. Inhabitants generally have no special powers.
  • Xanthu - home planet of Legionnaire Star Boy. Inhabitants generally have no special powers. First appeared in Adventure Comics #282.
  • Zerox - formerly the Gemworld, later the home planet of Mordru
