- Reason: Unspecified, but probably related to a general lack of purpose during the Dominator occupation of Earth.

- Became Leader : In July the 5th, 2991, during the Five Year Gap, as revealed in Legion of Superheroes Vol. 4, issues #1-#28. His role was largely as a puppet of the Dominators and may never been quite official.
- Reason: The resignation of Timber Wolf.
- Lost Leadership: Resigned in frustration in September the 14th, 2991, after the Black Dawn mission resulted in disaster. Details revealed in Legion of Super-Heroes v4 #28, April 1992. Unofficially appointed Polar Boy as his temporary successor.
