Errors and Oddities

• The story was untitled on original publication - the title "Mettle" was revealed on the letters page of Legion of Super-Heroes v2 #310
• On page 21, Cosmic Boy uses his powers to affect the iron in the criminals' blood. The iron in blood is nonferromagnetic[1] and would not be affected by any magnetic manipulation demonstrated by Cosmic Boy.
• Pol Krinn's forename is misspelt as "Poll".
