He is shown unmasked for the first time, revealing a beard similar to that worn by Star Boy beginning in Keith's Giffen's stint on Legion of Super-Heroes v2. He also mentions being trapped somewhere that was "blown to Kingdom Come", implying that he is the same Starman seen in that series.
