This issue is part of a 6 issue story arc that takes place in the Post-Zero Hour era. I only have this one issue of the six, but the events of #79 are definitely taking place contemporaneously with other comics published at the same time.

Within the story, post-Zero Hour Linda Danvers switches places (I don't know how from this issue) with (maybe) Pre-Crisis Kara Zor-El, winding up on a world that is Earth-1-like and Pre-Crisis-like, with some events paralleling Pre-Crisis events. Her rocket lands on Earth, Superman discovers her and she tells him she is his cousin from Argo City, although this is a lie. Superman sees through the deception but sees that her heart is true and eventually marries Linda. Doesn't sound like any Pre-Crisis history that I have ever seen. Meanwhile, the real Kara is back in Post-Zero Hour continuity fighting a villain who thinks she is Linda/Supergirl.

The Colossal Boy attending Linda's marriage to Superman is dressed in the Pre-Crisis uniform, but I would say the entire thing is some kind of Otherworlds event.

I think this image is more appropriately categorized as Post-Zero Hour. -- Gopher 09:04, 7 December 2006 (PST)

After rereading it (I have the arc, but hadn't read it in a cople of years), I'd semi-agree with you, in that Elseworlds (or "Otherworlds" as you put it) is probably more appropriate - I'd forgotten the detail. OTOH, it's certainly NOT related to the Post-ZH Legion, since the only Legionnaire involvement is based on the Pre-Crisis LoSH, and it's the Legion content that matters. (Ergo the Post-IC cats including issues from 2005). - Reboot (SoM) talk page 17:21, 7 December 2006 (PST)
Your inital slant was labelling the era by what characters are involved, while I based my original label on "when" the events of the story take place. How would we label it if Legionnaires from two eras are involved (while the cover is metaphorical, it has B5's from two eras). Off the top of your head, can you think of any other issues that will fall into the Misc/Elseworlds category? Maybe Spiderboy Team-Up? -- Gopher 19:06, 7 December 2006 (PST)
