We spent some time doping this out on LW a while back, and it looked a lot like XCel was XS and the GotG's ALETA (pre-Valentino) merged, not XS and Pietro... - Reboot (SoM) talk page 10:53, 6 January 2007 (PST)
- I'll take your word for it... I don't remember Aleta that much, but after reading her Wikipedia entry, she doesn't have powers that would make her a compatible amalgam with XS like Quicksilver would have.
